"Ascension" is based on Ernest Griolet (1819–1908), an alpinist, archaeologist, and benefactor of St-Luc. In 1866, he organised a day of celebration to lay the first stone of a lighthouse he dreamed of building at the summit of Bella Tola. Players follow the historical route, relive the festivities, and solve seven puzzles to unlock the reward. The game was inspired by archival documents describing that day. The activities recorded (music, feast, bivouac, fireworks) became the framework for the puzzles. Players experience the route Griolet took while enjoying a modern interpretation of the 1866 celebration.
